  • API Endpoint URL: This is stored locally within your Chrome browser using Chrome's `chrome.storage.sync`.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information, browsing history, or other user data.

2. How We Use Your Information

The API endpoint URL stored in Chrome's local storage is used solely for the following purpose:

  • Modifying `tel:` links in your browser to enable click-to-dial functionality with your preferred API.

This data remains entirely on your device and is not shared with us or any third party.

3. Data Sharing

We do not collect or share any user data. The extension operates entirely on your local browser.

4. Permissions Used

To function correctly, the extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

  • Storage: To store the API endpoint URL locally in your browser.
  • Scripting & ActiveTab: To modify `tel:` links in the active tab.
  • Host Permissions (`<all_urls>`): Required to interact with phone number links across different websites.

These permissions are only used to modify phone links for click-to-dial functionality. No data is sent externally.

5. Data Retention

The API endpoint URL remains stored in your Chrome storage until you manually remove or modify it. If the extension is uninstalled, all stored data is automatically deleted.

6. Your Control Over Data

Since all data is stored locally:

  • You can remove or update the stored API URL at any time via the extension's settings.
  • Uninstalling the extension will automatically delete all stored data.

7. Security

We take privacy seriously. The extension does not send data outside your browser and does not include any third-party tracking.
